Boids

Boids is one of the first self-contained games I made. It's a college assignment that I went rather overboard on. It's a basic simulation of a creatures who move in a bird-like flock on a 2D plane and a single pretator attempting to eat them. You can just watch it play out or you can take control of the predator.

Controls

• M - toggle mouse control. When enabled the pretator will follow your mouse cursor. Otherwise it will act of its own accord.
• R - reset level
• K - toggle kill counter display
• P - pause the game

Based on a simple boids system with texture and audio assets from Half-Life created by Valve Software.
